Alexander Francis Edward FitzJames (born 8 May 2007) is an English amateur heraldist and genealogist based in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. He is also known as Fitz or Alex. His interests include historical and antiquarian records, British history, family history, genealogy and heraldry.

He has a particular interest in the history and evolution of heraldry, including the study of coats of arms, heraldic law and practice, genealogy and the historical families associated with particular arms. He also does genealogical research into his family history, using historical papers, wills, parish registers, and other genealogical sources.

He is a member of several societies and organisations relating to his interests and occasionally makes donations to local, national and international charitable organisations. He is also keen on preserving and promoting historical traditions, especially those related to British history and heraldic culture.

He is currently reading for a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Ancient History and Classical Archaeology at the University of Leicester. His academic interests reflect a wider enthusiasm for history and include the study of ancient societies, material culture, historical sources and the development of institutions and traditions over time.
